Careful grooming for the pets most groomers will not take
Very few groomers in Dubai will handle a parrot or a rabbit properly. We do, and we do it at your home, which removes the single most stressful part for these animals: the journey.
- Birds, parrots and rabbits from AED 190
- Quiet, short sessions with minimal handling
- Nails, beak, feathers, coat and de-shedding
- No call-out fee anywhere in Dubai
Final price depends on size and coat condition. Confirmed on WhatsApp before we book you in, never after we arrive.
Birds and rabbits we have actually groomed
Our own photographs. Very few groomers in Dubai will take these animals, so here is the proof that we do, and how gently it is done.

Why handling time matters more than anything
Birds and rabbits are prey animals. Being held is not mildly annoying to them, it is frightening in a way that a dog simply does not experience. A rabbit can genuinely go into shock from stress.
So the whole approach is different. We keep sessions as short as possible, we do not chase perfection, and we would rather do a partial job calmly than a complete job that leaves the animal shaking. If your rabbit or bird has had enough, we stop.
What long-haired rabbits actually need
Angora and other long-coated rabbits mat quickly, particularly around the rear. This is not cosmetic. A matted rear traps droppings against the skin, which in Dubai heat can attract flies and lead to a condition called flystrike, which is a genuine emergency.
Regular brushing and clipping around the rear is basic health care for these breeds, not grooming for looks.
Small pets, big difference
Rabbits and guinea pigs are groomed gently, with no dryer noise and no stress.

AfterBird and rabbit questions
What does bird grooming involve?
Nail trimming, beak checking and shaping where needed, and wing feather trimming if you ask for it. We work quickly and quietly because the goal is to minimise handling time.
Do you clip wings?
Only if you ask us to, and only conservatively. We will discuss what your bird is used to first. A badly clipped wing can cause a bird to crash-land and injure itself.
What about rabbits?
Rabbits need nail trimming, coat brushing and de-shedding, and checking for matting around the rear. Long-haired breeds like Angoras need this regularly or the coat becomes a genuine health problem.
Do you bath rabbits?
Almost never, and we will usually advise against it. Full immersion bathing is genuinely dangerous for rabbits, who can go into shock. We spot-clean instead where it is needed.
How much does it cost?
Birds, parrots and rabbits start at AED 190, with no call-out fee.
