Privacy policy

Short version: we keep the details we need to groom your pet well, we never sell them, and you can ask to see or delete them at any time.

What we collect

When you book with us we keep your name, phone number, email if you give it, your address and access notes, and your pet's details: name, breed, size, coat and anything we should know to groom them safely, such as a sensitive ear or an anxious temperament. We also keep a record of your bookings and payments, and the messages you exchange with us on WhatsApp.

During grooming we may take before and after photos of your pet. These are part of your pet's grooming record and are shared with you in your Groom Report.

What we use it for

Three things only: to deliver and improve the grooming service, to send you messages about your own bookings, such as confirmations, arrival updates and reminders when your pet is due, and to understand which of our advertising brings us customers. If an enquiry arrives with a reference code from one of our ads, we record it so we can measure our advertising honestly.

Photos and marketing

Your pet's photos belong to their grooming record. We only use a photo in our marketing, for example on our website or social media, if you agree. You can say no, and you can change your mind later; we will remove the photo from our marketing.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers. Like most businesses we use trusted service providers to operate: our booking system, WhatsApp for messaging, payment providers for card payments, and Google for measuring our own advertising. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for as long as UAE law requires for tax and accounting. Your contact and pet details stay on file while you are a customer so that your pet's history and preferences are remembered between visits.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it, to stop sending you reminders, or to delete your details where the law allows. One message is enough: WhatsApp us at +971 55 559 6560 or email info@happypuppyuae.com.

Keeping it safe

Your details are stored in access-controlled systems, and only team members who need them to serve you can see them. If anything ever goes wrong with your data, we will tell you.
